On March 1, the University of Nicosia, in partnership with Junior Achievement Cyprus, hosted the second annual World Conference on Business Education, under the theme “Development of Business Skills”. This significant event, endorsed by the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, aimed to highlight the pivotal role of entrepreneurship education in today’s fast-evolving economic landscape. Coinciding with the European Commission’s Year of Skills, the conference sought to underscore the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial talents amidst the youth.
Entrepreneurship education has emerged as a key driver of economic development, job creation, and social adjustment. It fosters personal growth, enhances interpersonal relationships, and promotes equity within educational settings.
